Looking up

From  fire island the sun reads
Poet’s poems ,embraces his sky

Telling poet you should look up
But the poet squints at that sun.

Looking up causes such  sprain.
May a sun disappear in the hills.

You may look down more often
At earth, where poems are dust.

(reading O’Hara’s poem A True Account of Talking To The Sun on Fire Island)
