My ancestors

These mountains had existed,
When my ancestors had lived

And roamed their risky ridges.
Their bodies scurried for cover

Dark silences echoed  hollows
And a  silky sky felt their tops,

Fluffy cotton clouds cast their
Diaphanous shadows on them.

In unblinking moments of eyes
They see my foolish childhood

In knickers, ask silly questions.
These were the very questions

They   framed who mastered
These mountains ,end to end.
