Commuters

We are on a way to respective suns.
They all set behind our apartments

In a common sunset ,leaving roads
To the reluctant rule of streetlights.

We will return ,bumper to bumper,
To the respective holes in our dust

Where we sleep for our respective
Suns to rise, to start a new journey

Bumper to bumper, of mutual love
Between our cars, dimpled darlings.
